3rd Shift Production - Sanitation Manager

Job description:

Milkco is seeking a Sanitation Manager for 3rd Shift in our Production Department. This position is from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Monday through Friday with some Saturday work (not every Saturday). The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented "people person" with a positive attitude.

Milkco, Inc. is a Fluid Milk Plant. We process, bottle, and ship fluid milk, juice, tea, and eggnog. Established in 1982 with 50 employees, the plant has grown to 250+. Our employees enjoy steady, stable work without the risk of layoffs.

The job duties include:

• Overseeing nightly sanitation operations of all production and processing equipment and facilities to a high & consistent standard.
• Ensure all CIP and COP procedures are completed and documented nightly.
• Overseeing ingredient & product loading & unloading.
• Ensuring all crew members are performing to the highest standards.
• Scheduling crew members shifts & safety training.
• Regularly checking equipment for maintenance issues.
• Responsible for web-based Sanitation Program.

The ideal candidate has:

• Previous experience in food or beverage production.
• Prefer some Sanitation experience.
• 2+ years previous experience in a management/supervisor position.
• Manufacturing-based computer skills.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Compensation Information:

• Salary wage DOE
• Annual Pay Review

Employment Requirements:

• Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening (provided by Milkco).
• Will conduct a Criminal Background Check.
• Must pass an E-Verify Screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hrs per day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders as needed.
• Overhead reaching and lifting may be required at times.
