Warehouse Mechanic/Building-B

  1. Maintenance
    1. Checks lights in offices and stairs, changing as needed.
    2. Checks drains and toilets and unclog as needed.
    3. Cleans shop area.
    4. Services equipment motors, fans, etc. according to schedule or as needed.
    5. Cleans truck and ensure maintenance (proper fluid levels, tire tread and pressure, etc.) as needed.

 

  1. Repairs
    1. Performs carpentry projects (rough and finish carpentry) as needed and assigned.
    2. Performs basic plumbing jobs such as rebuilding valves, clearing sewer drains, installation of new piping and fixtures.
    3. Performs electrical repairs and limited new installations.
    4. Performs maintenance and immediate repairs on ammonia refrigeration system.

 

  1. Other
    1. Maintains clean and orderly work areas for safety.
    2. Assists in maintaining order and cleanliness in maintenance area and storage room.
    3. Cleans and returns company tools to proper area.
    4. Adheres to all safety, conduct, and company policies.
    5. Picks up/unloads supplies as needed.
    6. Assists other mechanics as needed.
    7. Performs other tasks as assigned.
