3rd Shift Mechanic

Requirements

• Bending and stooping for short to moderate periods of time.
• Lifting light to moderate weight.
• Must be able to climb upon a tractor in order to make repairs.
• Must be able to work overhead and from underneath a tractor or trailer.
• Standing on concrete floors.

A Day in the Life

Mechanics provide repairs and preventative maintenance to tractors and trailers, ensuring equipment is in peak operating condition. Team members will often work outside with exposure to dust, cold, heat, rain, and snow; while working inside the shop, members will be exposed to normal shop noise.

Experience

Two years of experience in tractor or trailer maintenance preferred. Must have an ASE certification in brake maintenance, and a valid North Carolina driver's license.
