Cash Management Specialist

The Company

The Position

The Cash Management Specialist is responsible for managing the gift card processing, preparing month end Store bank statement reconciliations, printing checks, and making remote deposits. The Specialist will also cross-train to support daily sales reporting and other areas to support the team. This role will also involve administrative and other assigned duties to ensure the department runs efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly store bank statement reconciliations.
  • Print checks and make remote deposits.
  • Prepare gift card orders with timeliness and accuracy.
  • Assist customers with gift card and money order questions and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Process credit card payments for the accounts receivable department.
  • Verify sales and distribute to appropriate management members.
  • Cross-train on all check printing, including the store draft checks printing.
  • Cross-train to support the Daily Sales Reporting.
  • Create and organize weekly money order transactions.
  • Observe all company rules and policies.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations.
  • Perform all other administrative duties and assignments as directed.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in accounting or a comparable field is desired.
  • Strong computer skills and comfortable using general office equipment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills required.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies.
  • Must be able to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation and discipline.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
