Ingles Markets began in 1963 as a single supermarket and has since grown into a regional grocery store chain with just under 200 retail locations operating in 6 southeastern states, a 1.6-million-square foot distribution center, two truck fleets, and a milk processing plant. Ingles Markets’ headquarters and distribution center are located just 15 minutes outside of Asheville, NC in the town of Black Mountain.

The Position
The Order Management Specialist is responsible for receiving store orders, printing and delivering daily reports, collecting and distributing mailbags, completing print jobs, and other related mailroom duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming inquiries from stores concerning order issues and questions.
- Sort and deliver morning reports.
- Promptly complete production print jobs.
- Collect, sort, and distribute store mailbags.
- Printer support, as needed.
- Linking Advantage cards.
- Any other duties as directed.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Education: High School diploma/GED or Experience commensurate with education
- Work Experience: Entry Level
- Computer Skills: Basic
- Computer Software Experience: Basic
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical people of various levels
- Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
- Must be able to physically process incoming orders and deliver to various locations.
