Ingles Markets’ headquarters and distribution center are located just 15 minutes outside of Asheville, NC in the town of Black Mountain.

The Position
The primary function of the Administrative Assistant for the Real Estate Department will be answering incoming phone calls from Ingles stores regarding maintenance and service issues and making sure the requests are routed to the appropriate contractors. This position administers all aspects of the Common Area Maintenance system, as well as taxes, insurance, and percentage rent for leased Ingles stores. The Administrative Assistant assists in all aspects of property management and ensures the department is running smoothly.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have strong decision making-abilities, organizational skills, customer service, and communication skills. They must be self-motivated and be able to manage their time efficiently. The candidate should also have Property Management and Yardi software experience. An added bonus would be intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft 365 and great working knowledge of state statues and self-insured plans with multi-state companies
