Ingles Markets’ headquarters and distribution center are located just 15 minutes outside of Asheville, NC in the town of Black Mountain.

The Position

The Real Estate Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs to company owned property.  Specific knowledge of roadway repairs, building maintenance, HVAC filter changes and maintenance, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, dry wall repairs, floor tile replacement, patching potholes, restroom maintenance, interior/exterior painting,  replacing electrical outlets and covers, and must have an knowledge of an assortment of hand tools.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. They must have general handyman expertise and knowledge, as well as the ability to complete maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, flooring, painting, woodworking, parking lot repairs, and more, as well as the ability to use a variety of hand tools. Related construction or maintenance experience is desired, and a High School diploma or equivalent is required.  Candidate should have welding experience.
