SAP Security Administrator

The Position

The SAP Security Administrator is responsible for maintaining Security of SAP systems and ensuring compliance with company-defined policies and controls. The Security Administrator is responsible for working with other teams to obtain security and control requirements, designing, defining, and documenting SAP Security roles while ensuring the highest level of security. This is a remote working position and will require in person visits to the office, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform role design tasks, creating transaction-level and authorization object-level configurations and direct user assignments.

Initiate and manage periodic SAP User reviews.

Perform monitoring, analysis and provide oversight to ensure security compliance and audit readiness.

SAP GRC administration.

SAP user administration and role development.

Generate Audit evidence and support Audit walkthroughs.

Participate in On-call rotation.

Monitor and self-assign IT SAP tickets.

Manage Security-related IT Change Requests.

Implement SAP Security Best Practices.

Document SAP Security requirements, controls, processes, and procedures.

Provide Security direction to SAP Teams.

Perform Segregation of Duties analysis and ensure SOX compliance.

Provide SAP security support for upgrades, testing cycles, and go-live, as needed.

Adhere to the company’s security standards and policies.

Assist in training associates, as necessary.

The Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent work experience with SAP security

Experience in supporting Audit

3+ years experience in SAP Security Design, Implementation, and Administration of roles and controls

3+ years experience in SAP GRC

Good understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance and Segregation of Duties (SOD)

Good understanding of business processes

SAP GRC Certification, preferred

CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus

Fluent in English – speaking, reading, and writing.

Must live in AL, GA, NC, SC, TN or VA.
