Opportunity
The Floating Pharmacist provides exceptional customer service while maintaining a high level of productivity and complying with all safety and sanitation procedures. For associates who truly apply themselves, the leadership and team-building experience you can learn from this position can enhance your candidacy for leadership positions in the future. This position floats between assigned retail locations as scheduled.
Key Responsibilites
- Greet customers within 10 feet, answer questions, and provide exceptional service.
- Advise customers and provide product information as needed.
- Request the customer’s Advantage Card before each transaction and circle the fuel-point balance on the receipt.
- Provide prompt, professional pharmaceutical dispensing services and maintain strong customer relations.
- Accurately prepare prescriptions and communicate clearly with patients.
- Provide appropriate drug and pharmaceutical information.
- Follow departmental procedures and quality, environmental, safety, and infection-control standards.
- Administer immunizations and vaccines in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Direct pharmacy technicians and cashiers when the Pharmacist-in-Charge is absent.
- Update the Pharmacist-in-Charge on department progress.
- Complete required daily and weekly paperwork.
- Order stock needed for daily operations.
- Train pharmacy staff on technology and equipment as needed.
- Regularly inspect the surrounding area for debris or hazards.
- Follow all store rules and company policies.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal health and civil codes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree, required
- Related Pharmacist work experience, and previous retail work experience a plus
- Licensed Pharmacist, registered through state board of Pharmacy
- Certified Immunizer and valid CPR certificate
