Job Description
The Company
Ingles Markets began in 1963 as a single supermarket and has since grown into a regional grocery store chain with just under 200 retail locations operating in 6 southeastern states, a 1.6-million-square foot distribution center, two truck fleets, and a milk processing plant. Ingles Markets’ headquarters and distribution center are located just 15 minutes outside of Asheville, NC in the town of Black Mountain.
The District
The area of District 2 is centered around northwest Georgia. Frequent travel between the stores in this district will be required and mileage reimbursement is provided.
The Position
The HR District Coordinator will be in the field inside the stores within the district, focusing on employee relations, compliance checks, and developing, executing, and evaluating training. They will also assist in other areas when necessary, like recruitment, onboarding, labor management, and more.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be motivated and able to take initiative, is able to work with minimal supervision effectively and efficiently, and has strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will also have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and is preferred to have experience in human resources, employee relations, and/or training and development. Candidates must also possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance to drive a non-company vehicle between stores.
