Opportunity

The Convenience Store Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth front-end operations within the I-Market area. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment.

Key Responsibilites

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers within 10 feet and assisting with questions.
  • Ensure Advantage Card usage on all transactions; assist with lookups as needed.
  • Create and manage effective work schedules to meet business volume and minimize wait times.
  • Perform and oversee cash pickups, change orders, and payroll commitments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards throughout the I-Market area.
  • Assign and monitor stocking duties; ensure shelves remain organized and stocked.
  • Manage damaged or spoiled products per company policy to reduce waste.
  • Comply with all safety policies and actively participate in the store’s safety program.
  • Monitor and control utility usage; follow conservation practices.
  • Complete South-Co orders to keep inventory levels adequate.
  • Rotate merchandise per policy; remove expired or out-of-code items promptly.
  • Follow approved procedures for price marking, restocking, and product rotation.
  • Oversee car wash operations, including daily reconciliation, cleaning, and repairs.
  • Conduct monthly inventories and maintain accurate records.
  • Train associates as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain sweep logs and ensure cleanliness standards are met.
  • Regularly inspect the surrounding area for hazards or debris.

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Previous retail supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs especially during times of high volume and/or stress.
  • Must be able to read and do simple math problems. 
  • Wants to be part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • 18 years of age or older
